The Dissident Project and The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute: A Powerful New Collaboration

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration between The Dissident Project and The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute. This partnership marks a significant moment in our mission to share the stories of those who have lived through authoritarian regimes and fought for the values of freedom, democracy, and individual rights.

Through this collaboration, The Dissident Project has teamed up with the prestigious Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation to create a unique platform for our dissidents. The Foundation has graciously interviewed several of our speakers, offering them the opportunity to share their personal journeys of escape from oppressive political systems and their inspiring messages of hope and resilience.

Among the voices featured in these powerful interviews are Mailyn Salabarria from Cuba, Jorge Galicia from Venezuela, and Grace Jo from North Korea. Mailyn’s story of defection from the Cuban regime shines a light on the struggles of those living under communist rule. Jorge, whose family fled Venezuela amidst the rise of authoritarianism and economic collapse, brings a powerful message about the dangers of socialism. Grace, a North Korean defector, offers a firsthand account of life under one of the most repressive regimes in the world and the courage it took to escape. These individuals—along with the rest of our remarkable dissidents—embody the resilience of those who refuse to be silenced by tyranny.

The interviews, hosted on the Foundation’s platform, will allow the broader public to gain firsthand insight into the experiences of those who have fought against communism and other forms of tyranny. These stories are especially timely, given the rise of authoritarian ideologies around the world today. The goal is to educate and inform younger generations about the dangers of losing freedoms and the value of preserving democratic principles.

As part of this collaboration, The Dissident Project is proud to continue our mission of training and empowering speakers who can share their transformative stories with audiences nationwide. This partnership allows us to broaden the reach of our work, ensuring that the message of liberty is heard by more people than ever before.

We look forward to seeing the impact of these interviews and the ongoing work we will do together to promote freedom, fight for human rights, and ensure that the sacrifices made by those who fought for liberty are never forgotten.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our work with The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute in bringing these important voices to light.
